WHAT: Redmond WorkSource is hosting a workshop as part of their “How To” Barrier Buster series. Guest speakers from various agencies will be in attendance. The goal of this workshop is to present options, programs and opportunities toward life goals and livable-wage careers.
Guest speakers include:

- Department of Corrections
- Freedom Project
- Renton Technical College

YOUTHCARE BARISTA & CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING ORIENTATION
WHEN: Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 3pm
WHERE: YMCA-Young Adult Services (2100 24th Ave S, Suite 250, Seattle, WA 98144)
WHAT: YouthCare is hosting a Barista & Customer Service Training orientation for young adults, ages 16-24, interested in the program. Orientation attendance is mandatory to complete enrollment. (Applications are due Wednesday, May 2 and the next cohort will begin Monday, May 7. One-on-one orientation options are also available.)
Eligibility requirements:
- Ages 16-24
- Legal to work in U.S. with 2 forms of ID (photo ID and a birth certificate/social security card)
- “Unstably housed” (youth do not have to be literally homeless; please ask if you are unsure about qualifications!)

CAPITOL HILL HOUSING – COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR

WHAT: Join Capitol Hill Housing for an evening of relaxation with delicious food and community resources. This event will connect residents from seven properties located in Capitol Hill and Central District with city resources and community services.
