How to Apply

For most volunteer opportunities, a Solid Ground Volunteer Application, Washington State Patrol (WSP) Background Check Form, and Volunteer Orientation are required before we can place volunteers. Some positions need additional forms and training as well. To get started, complete the forms below, then register for an upcoming volunteer orientation!

If you prefer not to use the online webform, there’s also a downloadable PDF of the combined Volunteer Application & Washington State Patrol Background Check Forms. Please download, print, complete, and sign these forms with ink (or insert an electronic signature). Email your completed Application, Background Check, and/or Underage Waivers forms to volunteers@solid-ground.org, or mail to: Solid Ground, Attn: Volunteer Coordinator, 1501 N 45th St, Seattle, WA 98103
