The Food FARMacia Program is a farmer’s-market-style food distribution program that was developed in partnership between Solid Ground and Sea Mar Community Health Centers to increase access to fresh produce and nutrition education to Sea Mar patients. Duties will include unloading food deliveries, distributing food, keeping stations well stocked, welcoming patrons and providing information and direction as needed, breaking down boxes, and supporting Sea Mar and Solid Ground staff to provide food samples and nutrition education.
FARMacia volunteer shifts are ~2.5 hours. Distribution at the White Center clinic is Fridays 1-3pm, and we ask volunteers to be there 12:30-3pm.
