Join the Seattle Human Services Coalition (SHSC), the Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness (SKCCH), and Statewide Poverty Action Network for an IN-PERSON housing justice and human services advocacy training at Solid Ground in Wallingford. We’ll have food to share.
This training is open to anyone who wants to raise their voice to make sure Seattle, King County, and all levels of government pass policies and budgets that support people experiencing homelessness and housing instability. You’ll learn different ways to make your voice heard (it’s easy!), how to help someone else speak up, and get a chance to practice different ways to take action. We’ll have a special focus on the upcoming budget season in Seattle and King County.
This training is for you if you:
- Live or work in Seattle or King County and care about homelessness or human services.
- Are accessing housing, shelter, or other human services to help meet your basic needs.
- Work at an organization that serves people experiencing poverty or homelessness.
- Are a seasoned advocate, or if you’ve never done advocacy before!
Can’t make it to the in-person training? We’re also offering another ONLINE Housing Justice Advocacy Training on October 3, 2025 from 12-1:30pm. Make sure to register even if you can’t attend. We’ll share a recording after the training.
