Growing Food, Growing Community will be handing out kale and chard starts at the Whole Foods store in Interbay to celebrate Earth Day. They’ll also be talking to people about their greenhouse volunteering and Lettuce Link. Stop by and say hi! 2001 15th Ave W
Anthropologie will donate a portion of the proceeds from their “Seed Bombs” to Lettuce Link. Seed bombs are gum-ball sized seed/soil pods filled with wildflowers, which spread flower seeds when left outside. Made by a US company, each pack contains 5 “bombs”, made of a mixture of wildflower seeds indigenous to the western US. Until supplies run out.
