Every child deserves to begin the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported.
This summer, children and youth connected to Solid Ground’s Sand Point Housing and Broadview Shelter & Transitional Housing are filling their days with learning, play, creativity, and community. But as the first day of school approaches, many families are also navigating the rising costs of backpacks, supplies, clothing, food, and other essentials.
That’s where community comes in.
Through Pack It Forward, you can help students start the school year with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Your support helps provide backpacks, school supplies, snacks, and other essentials for local students and families. But this drive is about more than supplies. It’s about easing financial stress for families. It’s about helping students walk into the classroom feeling proud and prepared. It’s about showing young people that their community believes in them and is invested in their future.

DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS
Please check in with the security guard on the 1st floor and let them know you’re dropping off items for Solid Ground’s Pack It Forward donation drive.
DONATION DEADLINE
All donations must be received by Thursday, August 13 to allow time for sorting and distribution before the school year begins.
