ACCESS Bus Rides
An effort that started on a shoestring budget in 1987, with a VISTA volunteer driving seniors to medical appointments in an old van, has grown into one of King County’s major transportation programs.
Solid Ground Transportation (SGT) provides ACCESS bus services to people unable to use Metro’s fixed-route system for accessibility reasons. SGT Drivers help people get to critically needed health and human services resources and connect people with their communities. SGT vehicles are fully accessible, equipped with lifts for loading passengers with wheelchairs and other mobility devices, and have the space to accommodate multiple passengers. Service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Easy Loop Bus (downtown Seattle)
SGT’s fixed-route, 7-stop Easy Loop provides FREE accessible rides for people living on low incomes and/or those who use health and human services in downtown Seattle.
Easy Loop (formerly known as the Circulator) piloted in 2012 when budget cuts eliminated the former King County Metro Bus Ride Free Area offering a transportation alternative in an expanded service area. Look for the Easy Loop and Solid Ground logos on the sides and front of the bus – and the sign below posted at stops.
