The Information Systems Developer is responsible for adapting, configuring, developing, supporting, and administering CaseWorthy human services software, including the CaseBot reporting and analysis solution. They are responsible for using Planner, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 apps to manage tasks and projects, share information, automate processes, and collaborate. And they should be capable of performing basic query and analysis actions in SQL Server.
In addition, the Information Systems Developer will be familiar with King County’s Clarity HMIS software. The Information Systems Developer will create reports and queries for staff, managers, and funders and comply with all contract agreements in the development of data user policies, standards, and procedures. The position requires technical expertise and the ability to work with all levels of users, and vendors.
This position is time limited through one year from start date.
Essential Responsibilities, Duties & Tasks
50% Perform the functions of Agency Lead User Manager, as outlined in the King County HMIS Partner Agency Technical Administrator and Security Officer Agreement (for Clarity). Lead Agency technical implementation of Caseworthy, including form, report, and workflow and dashboard design. Cooperate with agency strategic plan initiatives. Design and create staff user protocols, procedure manual, training materials. Work with system vendors and their customization staff to create tools, file designs and data rules. Serve as first-level user support for Caseworthy and Clarity
20% Manage information systems tasks using Planner. Be responsible for the SharePoint communication site for Data Systems, including maintaining current information, responding to issues and feature requests, and evolving its design. Use Teams to collaborate with data systems users, the data systems governance team, and others. Contribute to process automation and data collection projects using Power Automate and Power Apps. With the network administrator, manage role-based permissions for Power Automate, Power Apps, and Forms. Assist users in the development of surveys, questionnaires, and quizzes using Forms
5% Maintain CaseWorthy backups in SQL Server. Perform basic SQL queries and analyses of CaseWorthy backups. Ensure that the CaseWorthy application and backups comply with funder and regulatory requirements
10% Supervise the Database Assistant, including hiring, supervision, training, daily work planning and evaluation, on the implementation of CaseWorthy in the Agency
10% Participate in IT operational activities, including infrastructure management, user support and provisioning, software licensing, adoption and implementation of information security regulations, and technology planning
5% Serve on the All Leadership Team to ensure integration of information systems considerations in agency planning and governance. Participate in program, department and agency meetings and relevant training as required.
