This recipe uses just a few simple ingredients to make a delicious and nutritious bar that is good for either breakfasts or snacks. It get its protein from nut butter, whole grains from oats, and natural sweetness from honey and bananas. Bake up a batch to have these bars ready to eat for the next week!
Prep time: 15 mins | Total time: 45 mins | Yield: 8 bars
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup of chopped nuts
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup nut butter
- 2 cups of oats
- Combine bananas, honey, and nut butter in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Add oats, chopped nuts, and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
- Pour mixture into a 9 x 9 baking dish, covered with parchment paper. Spread mixture evenly around dish.
- Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 350º F.
