Chefs Night Out (CNO) is Seattle’s ultimate culinary and wine gala! Guests enjoy a specially prepared five-course meal paired with fine wines by one of the region’s locally-renowned chefs. The evening begins with a lavish cocktail hour and silent auction. 100% of ticket sales and proceeds benefit Solid Ground's Cooking Matters.
All CNO proceeds benefit Cooking Matters – a partnership between Solid Ground and Share Our Strength (SOS) – offering classes on nutrition, healthy cooking, and food budgeting for Washington State families and individuals at risk of hunger and malnutrition. CNO 2012 was another sell-out success, raising more than $62,000 for Cooking Matters! CNO accounts for over half of Cooking Matters' annual budget. Thanks to our Sponsors, In-Kind Donors and participating Restaurants & Chefs, 100% of ticket sales and proceeds raised the night of the event go directly to Cooking Matters.
Please note: One of the main reasons chefs are attracted to this event is because it is the one day of the year that they are truly free to let their culinary imagination and talent shine. Therefore, this event may NOT be appropriate for people with food allergies and/or special dietary restrictions.
