6/29/10: 13 local restaurants will support Solid Ground by donating 10% - 50% of their proceeds to Lettuce Link! The purpose of the event is to bike to local restaurants who are supporting Lettuce Link that night. Dad Watsons, a long-time partner of Solid Ground, is supporting the event by donating 50% of the night's proceeds!

Spoke & Food is an evening of cycling and dining in Seattle! With an interest in supporting and influencing the culture of Seattle, while also stepping up to the plate, Spoke & Food is creating this event to share a fact that bicycling to dinner is fun, and in Seattle it can be done quite easily.

On Tuesday, June 29th, 2010, we invite you to join us as well as many other Seattle area residents in bicycling to and from one or more of the many establishments that are supporting this event. By participating in this event, you will
(1) Help raise funds for Lettuce Link!
(2) Experience firsthand how easy and fun bicycling to dinner can be.

(3) Help show your support for the environment by not using a motor vehicle that night.
(4) Collectively improve the community and culture of the city of Seattle. 

We urge you to bicycle to and from dinner on the evening of this event and then after that as much as you can on your own. Participating restaurants include:
