How to Reach Us

We have to end poverty at the root level, and Solid Ground works 24/7 to make this a reality — and it wouldn't be possible without volunteers. In 2006, more than 4,000 volunteers provided 500,000+ hours of tutoring, gardening, harvesting, producing events and community forums, educating, advocating and feeding children.

We value EVERY volunteer minute spent with our clients, families and programs, but each year we honor one volunteer who went the extra mile. Last year it was too difficult to honor just one — so the All Star Volunteer Team was born. In 2007, individuals listed below were recognized by the programs they served for the many hours of dedication and leadership they provided.
