Volunteer Opportunities:
- Individual Volunteers
- Group Volunteers: Volunteer with a group of coworkers, family, friends and/or neighbors.
- RSVP: Our Retired & Senior Volunteer Program offers volunteer opportunities for people 55 and older in Seattle and King County.

AmeriCorps & VISTA: Solid Ground coordinates National Service positions in Seattle and King County, which offer a modest monthly stipend and an educational award upon completion of a year of service.

Board of Directors: Solid Ground seeks community members committed to ending poverty, prejudice and neglect to join our Board.

To get on Solid Ground's general volunteer list, please complete and submit a 1) Volunteer Application form and 2) Washington State Patrol Background Check form. Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold or given to any other organization. (Please note: Some Solid Ground programs use their own volunteer application forms, so if you are interested in any of the specific volunteer positions listed on our Individual Volunteers or Group Volunteers pages, please see each individual volunteer description for how to apply.)
1) Complete a Volunteer Application form
- Online Volunteer Application: Please fill in as much information as you can, as it helps our volunteer coordinator match you with the most appropriate opportunities.
- Volunteer Application (MS Word): If you prefer not to apply online, please download this Word version of our Volunteer Application and email it to Solid Ground's Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@solid-ground.org, or you can print then fax or mail it in (see fax and address below).
2) Washington State Patrol Background Check form: Please print and fax or mail this form to our Volunteer Coordinator (see fax and address below).

Solid Ground often has Internship and Work Study opportunities. For information about current positions, contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
