Brettler Family Place opening bash!
The first residents are safely ensconced in their homes at Brettler Family Place, and more than 150 people joined us at a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday April 7, 2011! You can read new resident Joy Sparks' speech about what living at Brettler Family Place means to her and her family on the Solid Ground Blog.

Brettler Family Place completes Stage 1 of our On Solid Ground at Sand Point Capital Campaign, ending homelessness for 51 families. Stage 2 will include 20 additional housing units for families, as well as 34 units for single men and women, including veterans, seniors and people living with disabilities.

From I-5 NORTH or SOUTH:

• Take the NE 45^th Street exit off of I-5, driving NORTH or SOUTH.
• Drive EAST on NE 45^th Street.
• Turn LEFT onto NE 45^th Street / Montlake Blvd. NE. Continue to follow NE 45^th Street.
• Stay STRAIGHT to go onto SAND POINT WAY NE.
• At NE 65^th Street, turn RIGHT into Magnuson Park.
• Take the first LEFT onto 62^nd Avenue NE.
• Park in the first parking lot you come to on the RIGHT.
• Walk down the center stairs between the two Brettler Family Place buildings to the Lowry Community Center.
