    • Gift cards to learning stores (e.g. Math ‘n’ Stuff, Lakeshore Learning)
    • Gift cards to bookstores for curriculum supplies (e.g., Barnes & Noble, Borders)
    • Art supplies or gift cards to Michaels
    • Large-capacity crockpots & large buffet servers

  • Donations for kids: Our Food Security for Children program always needs food, clothing and toys for infants and young children. Please see our detailed list of frequently-needed kids' items — or contact the program at 206.694.6755 or fsc@solid-ground.org.

  • Nonperishable food items: Our Partners in Caring (PIC) program serves more than 70 seniors and other homebound individuals count on PIC for a weekly delivery of groceries. A sampling of the types of foods we need: canned protein (tuna, beans, etc.), cereal, rice, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed meals and mixes, soups, oatmeal, and shelf-stable snacks (granola bars, cookies, etc.). Please deliver or send your donations to the front desk at Solid Ground’s Headquarters building at 1501 N. 45th Street, Seattle, WA 98103. Questions? Contact Ugochi at PIC@solid-ground.org or Trish at hungeractioncenter@solid-ground.org.

  • Raffle prizes: Our Partners in Caring program sponsors several raffles a year at Seattle Housing Authority buildings. The events have become VERY popular, so the prize pool is low. Residents enjoy winning practical household items or gift certificates. If you have something that may be appropriate to donate for a prize, contact the program at 206.694.6731 or PIC@solid-ground.org. We might even be able to arrange to pick it up!

  • Used cars: If you have a vehicle you would like to donate to our Working Wheels program, please email ww@solid-ground.org or call 206.716.3855.

  • Questions about other possible in-kind donations? Please contact info@solid-ground.org.
