Broadview's Wish List: Our Broadview Emergency Shelter & Transitional Housing program residents are homeless women and their children.
○ Halloween costumes for kids, sizes 5-14.
○ Cell phones with chargers for residents who do not
already have a cell phone to use as a safety tool. (Please
note that without chargers, we are unable to use cell
phone donations.)
○ Family DVDs
○ Digital camera & photo printer

○ Gift cards to learning stores (e.g. Math ‘n’ Stuff,
Lakeshore Learning)
○ Gift cards to bookstores for curriculum supplies

Gardening tools & supplies: Solid’s Ground’s Lettuce Link program — and Lettuce Link’s Community Fruit Tree Harvest, Marra Farm Giving Garden and new Seattle Community Farm projects — are grateful for donations of gently used (unless otherwise noted) or new items. Our Partners in Caring (PIC) program serves more than 80 seniors and other homebound individuals. These clients count on PIC for weekly grocery delivery.
○ Dollars for Groceries: A cash donation of $10.50 buys
a bag of groceries for one vulnerable adult at risk of
hunger and malnutrition. To make a secure donation,
visit our Grocery Delivery Project webpage.
○ Nonfood items: Did you know that Food Stamps do not
cover any nonfood items, such as soaps, paper products,
household supplies, grooming items, personal hygiene
products, toothpaste and cosmetics? Please deliver or
send your donations to the front desk at Solid Ground’s
Headquarters building, 1501 N 45th St, Seattle, WA
98103, Attn: Partners in Caring.
